IPB announces partnership with Bitcoin Policy UK
The Portuguese Bitcoin Institute (Instituto Português de Bitcoin, IPB) and Bitcoin Policy UK (BPUK) have formalised a strategic partnership focused on advancing the understanding and adoption of Bitcoin. This collaboration brings together two organisations that are already active in education and policy to strengthen their impact at national and European level.
The two organisations share a common mission: to highlight Bitcoin’s role in economic growth, innovation, and global competitiveness, while supporting a more informed public debate on Bitcoin in Europe and the United Kingdom. By working together, IPB and BPUK aim to help policymakers, businesses, and citizens engage with Bitcoin in a more rigorous and constructive way.
The agreement provides for cooperation on advocacy and public policy work. Both parties will share best practices, lessons learned, and insights from their respective policy engagements, while supporting each other in meetings, consultations, and public interventions. This is intended to make their contributions more effective, coherent, and responsive to the challenges facing Bitcoin today.
